Flower Bouquets
Flowers have been a meaningful and treasured gift for centuries and a flower bouquet remains popular as a gift today.
The Victorians created a whole language around the gift of flowers and a flower bouquet could be used to pass a message that could never have been spoken out loud. Roses might mean gratitude, desire or love, depending on the colour, while Lilies can mean purity and Oxeye Daisies, patience. Not all flower gifts will have a pleasant meaning; no one who speaks the language of flowers will want to receive Hydrangeas as part of a bouquet, although an entire plant in a pot won't have the same meaning!
A real flower bouquet will brighten a room and the fresh scent of flowers is unmistakeable. Although a bouquet of flowers won't last forever, the memory of the pleasure that they give will last and last.
