MP3 Players
With so much choice, choosing the right mp3 player can be a challenging proposition. Here are some things to consider when trying to pick the perfect mp3 player for you.
Memory: How many songs will you need your mp3 player to hold? mp3 tracks vary in size, but as a rule of thumb, a 2Gb mp3 player should hold around 500 tracks. Think carefully about how you want to use your mp3 player. Will it just need to hold an hour or two's worth of listening or will you want to cram your entire music collection on there? Either way you'll be able to find a wide selection of mp3 players with whatever memory capacity you'll need. Keep in mind the mp3 player prices tend to go up with increased memory, so your budget may limit the memory size you go for.
Video: Will you just be listen to tracks, or would you like to be able to view video as well? Many mp3 players come with a large screen and support mpeg 4 and other media, allowing you to enjoy video as well as music.
Size: mp3 players are available in a wide range of sizes. Those with built-in screens or large batteries will be larger. Limited functionality mp3 players are more likely to be compact. Figure out whether handy and compact is more important to you than all-singing-all-dancing functionality and choose accordingly.
