It looks like a destruction-dealing machine of doom from a science fiction movie, but the Climbatron's purpose in life is much more peaceful.

This bipedal robot has a suction pad on the bottom of each of its two big feet. Stick it to a window, and off it'll go, stomping slowly upwards.

Provided the window and the suction cups are clean, it'll keep going till it reaches the top. Unfortunately, with the single mindedness typical of robots, it'll keep trying to climb when it reaches the top until it drops off the window. You have to admire its dedication to duty.

With flashing LEDs and a loud, whirring, lurching motion, everybody will notice its progress up the window. It'll walk on flat horizontal surfaces too, but of course that's nowhere near as cool.

The Climbatron stands about 10cm high and comes in Grey, White or Blue. You'll get a randomly selected colour.

The Climbatron requires 2 x AAA batteries which are not included in the pack.

The battery case is held closed with 2 small philips screws. You'll need a small philips screwdriver to open it.

The Climbatron is suitable for ages 7+, adult supervision is advised.
