This amazing Stirling Engine kit comes flat packed for you to assemble. Almost unbelievably the main components of the kit are made of cardboard, with a couple of laser-cut aluminium plates and a few PVC bearings being the main exceptions.
If you have the patience and dedication you can follow the instructions to painstakingly assemble your own Stirling Engine, and with a bit of tweaking, get it running on a hot cup of tea.
It took us about 10 hours total to assemble from scratch, so you'll need some time, a few tools and careful fingers, but we think the reward is worth it.
