The Pocket Garden Organic Basil pack comes sealed in a leak-proof bag containing specially formulated compost and seeds. Once the bag is cut open, just sow the seeds, water and position the pack where it'll get some light. Then wait for the Basil to appear. Expect the seeds to germinate in 14-21 days.
With its tangy taste, Basil can be used with raw or cooked tomatoes and the chopped leaves can be sprinkled over cooked vegetables or added, during final cooking, to vegetable soups.

- Ensure the compost is damp and remember water is taken up by the compost at the outset.
