Snowboarding was invented in the 1960's in the USA and has grown in popularity around the world ever since. It is essentially skateboarding down a snowy hill but on a board with no wheels! In 1998 it became an Olympic sport where world class riders perform dizzying tricks, however you won't be learning how to do this just yet.
These lessons are the best way to learn no matter what your ability. We may not have a lot of snow fall in Britain, but that's no reason not to snowboard any time of the year. On booking it's important you state your level of experience whether you are a complete beginner or you just want to brush up on your skills so you can be put into the correct lesson. You may be asked to arrive up to half an hour before your appointed lesson time to give you time to collect your equipment and get changed. Then you will have an initial safety briefing and you're off to the slopes!.
